 Q-HSE management system

In the diving industry, there is always a large volume of works undertaken in water by divers at different pressure and depth. Due to the harsh nature between water and air environment, so working in the water to be classified into types of labor, “especial – heavy – toxic”. Under the impact of adverse factors in the water environment and the complex technical requirements, divers are prone to accidents as well as the pathological state of acute and chronic. In addition the divers usually work on high pressure machines, high pressure hose and work near the water’s edge, exposing to noise, risk of falling from the height so the risk of labor accidents and occupational diseases can still occur.

Identifying the potential risks and awareness of the importance of safety for the diving team, the leaders of PVCOLLEGE has determined: Safety is a prerequisite for the existence and prestige of PVCOLLEGE.

PVCOLLEGE is fully aware that safety is the more and more importance of all the activities. So, PVCOLLEGE has been actively applying and joining IMCA member recently and applying the international standards of safety management. Specifically, with the support and guideline of  IMCA documents, PVCOLLEGE has issued many procedures of safety, quality control, maintenance and repair for diving operation in accordance with International Standards.

In recent years, PVCOLLEGE has developed and applied an Integrated management system according to ISO 9001:2008 with a management system of Safety – Health according to international standard ISO 45001:2018. PVCOLLEGE has issued a policy on Safety – Health – Environment  with the philosophy  “No activity or project is so important that it can be carried out without care and attention of the health & safety of related personnel & preventing damage to property and the environment “.

To apply and maintain the integrated management system, PVCOLLEGE has issued the policy on Health- Safety – Environment, built the annual Safety – Quality goal and issued many control procedures such as risk assessment, safety monitoring and auditing, training and education, quality control … For the diving operation , there are over 20 procedures on diving operation, maintenance,  … These procedures are regularly reviewed and updated as appropriate with the changes of IMCA guidance.

Partly thanks to the successful application and maintenance of the integrated management system, for years of the operation, PVCOLLEGE has ensured safety for divers and maintained the continuous safety operation in diving services.
